Lately I’ve been battling with myself. I’ve been trying to decide what direction I should go in. Let’s say you’re working on two separate projects. Project X is fun and exciting, and Project Y is something you wouldn’t mind doing, but it doesn’t excite you. You want to get to a point where you can finally bring in some income off of your projects, but Project Y is the one that is moving at a quicker pace. More people are responding to that one more than Project X. What would you do? Would you go to what’s closer to the finish line? Or would you go to what draws your interest? Eventually you will get to a point to where you have to stop spreading yourself too thin and pick something to give your all to, but I don’t know which direction I should go in. Of course, I would love to go to the direction that excites me, but I don’t know if it could ever be as popular as I would like. Maybe if I was 20, I would have the time to put more into it, but time is ticking and I’m not sure what I should do. I need something that works, but at the same time It would be amazing to say I love what I do. I would still be content with Project Y, because it’s still an idea that came from me and it’s something I created. I just find the most joy in Project X. I would love to do it all, but I should really hold back until I get one off the ground. They both are time consuming and splitting myself between two isn’t really working. Which one would you go for? 🤔
