Well, in my last post I wrote about my ideal quarantine day. Now I want to share my ideal day here in my city. If the world was back to normal, what would a perfect day in my town be like for me? Well, I’m going to start by choosing a Sunday in the fall. I’m choosing the fall because it’s my favorite time of year. I will start the day by catching a 10:30 or 11:00 showing at the movie theater. At my old job I had to work really early and by the time I was off I was just in time for the for Sunday showing. I loved doing this because I had the whole theater to myself. No one would be there for the first showing on Sundays. I would get me a cinnamon soft pretzel and just relax and watch the movie without any distractions. After the movie I would get out just in time for the food tour downtown. Although this tour is probably best for tourists, as a foodie I couldn’t resist sampling from all the local downtown restaurants. Next, I would take a walk around the park and just enjoy the autumn weather. I would then let out my inner kid and go to an arcade with the family. We always have a good time playing games, whether it’s at Dave & Busters, or Chuck E. Cheese’s. It’s something the whole family can enjoy. A little after eight o’clock I would then head to dinner with my other half at one of my favorite Italian restaurants. As usual I would leave overly stuffed and waddle my way to the nearest Redbox machine. We would end the night watching a movie while cuddled up on the couch.
