Aside from the meaningful things, one thing that inspires me is looking at homes. Even though most of us want wealth and success because we hope to be provided for families and payback our parents for every sacrifice that they ever made for us. We might want to do something meaningful and help out the less fortunate in some way. Yes! We might want to do all of that, but there’s always something that we long to buy. For some people it’s expensive cars, designer clothes, jewelry or even things that should not be mentioned. As for me, I don’t care about those things. The only kind of luxury I crave is where I lay my head. I want my home to be an oasis. Ever since I was a kid, I would grab those free home books that would be in grocery stores. I would circle all the homes that I liked and that was one of the things that I would do for fun. I would also go online and print out different rooms and make a college of my dream home.
Looking at homes is still something I love to do. It motivates me to work harder. I see those amazing homes and it makes me want to push harder. I automatically get the urge to start working. Someday I hope to have a home that suitable for me. The kind of home that I have yearned for since the beginning. Every time I need a pick me up, I would just open up the Zillow app, watch HGTV or look at a house/condo tour on YouTube. Getting the kind of home that I’ve always dreamed of is something I visualize often. What’s something that motivates you outside of the important things?
